Auf der BiblioCon 2026 wurde ein Hands-on Lab zur Vermittlung von Datenkompetenz durch OER in Bibliotheken durchgeführt, wobei Teilnehmer:innen Kapitel erprobten und deren Anpassung sowie OER-Strategien diskutierten.
Project QUADRIGA had a booth at the INFORMATIK FESTIVAL 2025 held at the University Potsdam where we used the playful method of building with LEGO bricks to talk about data literacy with the attendees.
Participants were introduced to the method by building “the best duck with roughly 6 bricks”. Then they were asked to think about one important, difficult or otherwise interesting aspect of data literacy for their profession or discipline. Then they built something to represent this aspect and we talked about it. The results were documented in (instant) photos supplemented with notes about the built object.
I had the pleasure to present our work on using Jupyter Book for OER we developed in the QUADRIGA project. The slides are published as well.
Colleagues from Fraunhofer FOKUS presented the work on OER for administrative science.
Monday 23.06. till Wednesday 25.06. my Colleague and I where invited to ZB Med in Cologne to participate in a hackathon concerning metadata for learning resources (archived). We created Crosswalks between schema.org and different metadata schemas developed and used in projects of some of the participants. The results will be published at a later date.
QUADRIGA is developing an internal format to transport information between the Case Studies (in GitHub) and the QUADRIGA Navigator and we learned many useful things and updates to the provisional schema definition have already begun.
Im Rahmen der QUADRIGA Jahrestagung 2025 führte ich, mit der Unterstützung meiner Kolleg*innen, einen Workshop „Jupyter Book für interaktive OER durch.
Acht Personen bzw. Teams nahmen Teil und erstellten unter Anleitung eine Beispiel-OER.
Meine Kolleg*innen und ich haben am 20.05.2025 im BBK des Instituts für Bibliotheks- und Informationswissenschaft das QUADRIGA Datenkompetenzframework vorgestellt.

An der ISI 2025 nahm ich mit einem Vortrag und einem Poster zu den Themen Datenkompetenz und OER-Entwicklung teil.
